Navy edged Army in a dramatic win while President Donald Trump’s appearance drew protests throughout Baltimore, adding political friction to the storied Army-Navy matchup.
Navy took the lead on a fourth-down touchdown pass from Blake Horvath to Eli Heidenreich with 6:37 to play. Horvath finished with 82 yards passing, 107 yards rushing and two total touchdowns. Army quarterback Cale Hellums finished with 82 yards passing and 100 yards and a touchdown rushing.

The 126th Army-Navy Game takes place on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md. Navy leads the all-time series, 63-55-7 and won last year’s game over Army, 31-13. Army’s last win was in 2023.

Army scored a touchdown on its opening drive but never reached the end zone on its remaining seven tries. Each of the Black Knights’ final five series lasted four plays or fewer as Navy — with a time of possession of 34:35 — substantially outperformed the nation’s No. 1 clock-eater.
Navy has beaten Army for a second straight season. Blake Horvath threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Eli Heidenreich with 6:32 remaining — on fourth-and-goal — and the 22nd-ranked Midshipmen rallied for a 17-16 win on Saturday.
With the Black Knights out of timeouts, Navy was able to go into victory formation to seal the victory. Then Horvath waved goodbye, Army solemnly gathered for the school fight song and the Midshipmen, for the second year in a row, sang second.
